Collection: W H Wilmot
Originally producing gentleman’s watch chains and fobs, more products were added over time to include ladies’ fancy bracelets and necklaces, along with their own ‘Premo Expanding Bracelet’. The fire that destroyed the interior in 1932 allowed the company to “rebuild on the most modern possible lines” and allowed them to update equipment and processes. Having been acquired by Saunders, Shepherd and Co. in 1959, WH Wilmot finally ceased trading in 2009.

Established in 1860 in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, W.H. Wilmot began by crafting exquisite gold chains and watch bracelets. By the mid-20th century, they expanded into producing high-quality watch cases and bracelets, including pieces for renowned Swiss brands like Omega and Longines. Their in-house line of WHW quartz wristwatches featured elegant designs, often set in 9ct and 18ct gold cases, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. W.H. Wilmot ceased operations in 2009, but their legacy endures through the enduring quality and timeless appeal of their timepieces.
