Our patent pending hinge mechanism is guaranteed for five years against faults. This does not include the repair of any damage caused by misuse or taking undue care. We recommend removing hinged rings for activities which may require rigorous use of the hands. We also do not recommend wearing your hinged ring for activities such as gardening where it may come into contact with large quantity of dirt and/or tools. We encourage customers to bring their Hinged Rings into store for inspection every 12-18 months to ensure they are in fully working condition. 

– Always ensure the hinge and locking mechanism are clean and free from debris.
– Avoid pulling the hinge open without first undoing the lock.
– As with all fine jewellery, remove for heavy manual work, gardening or chemicals.
– We’re happy to inspect your hinged ring at Avanti Jewellers to help ensure the hinge remains smooth and secure. 

Yes! Our HingeFit technology has helped hundred of customers who suffer from Arthritis, as well as people who have hand/finger injuries or just simply have large knuckles. 

We strongly advise coming into our store and being measured with our hinged gauges by an experienced member of our team.

Our ring gauges can be posted out to customers who are not local for a £25 charge (UK only) which is then credited to your account for your order. We ask for the gauges to be returned back to us via tracked delivery within a few days.

However please note: All hinged rings are made to order and we cannot accept returns that do not fit correctly if the finger has not been measured by a member of our team. Costs for size adjustments or remakes where necessary, will be the customers responsibility.

When measuring for a hinged ring, we recommend visiting our store so we can assess knuckle size, finger shape and comfort factors. The hinge allows for a slightly different fit than a standard ring.
We also advise considering your daily wear environment — if your fingers swell due to heat, humidity, or medical conditions, the hinge mechanism supports ease of wear without compromising security.

HingeFit rings are specially made to order products and therefore are not eligible for a refund as outlined in our bespoke terms.
