This Seiko Prospex HBJ001P1 is a Speedtimer “Racing” Solar Chronograph with a silver tone dial, stainless steel case and matching stainless steel bracelet. Designed under the theme of classic motorsports, this model takes inspiration from racing cars of the 1960s and 1970s, giving it a clean vintage sports feel.

The Seiko Speedtimer name dates back to 1969, when it marked an important moment in chronograph innovation. This modern Racing edition continues that heritage with Speedtimer design details, including hour and minute hands inspired by the original 1969 model, a chronograph second scale around the dial ring and a bi-colour aluminium bezel with tachymeter markings.

The watch is powered by Seiko’s in-house V192 solar calibre, which charges from natural or artificial light. When fully charged, it offers approximately six months of power reserve and accuracy of approximately +/- 15 seconds per month. The movement also includes a 24-hour hand, small seconds hand, date display, power reserve indicator, overcharge prevention function and chronograph timing up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments.

The 41.4mm stainless steel case is paired with a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes for improved visibility, while the screw case back and 10 bar water resistance add practical durability for everyday wear.

Finished with a stainless steel bracelet and three-fold clasp with push button release, this Seiko Prospex Speedtimer offers a strong balance of motorsport-inspired styling, solar chronograph functionality and classic everyday wearability.
Delivery and return
  • In stock items will be delivered within 1-3 working days (*usually the same day if ordered before 1pm but this can vary during busy periods).
  • Where size adjustments need to be made delivery is usually 7-10 working days. However if the product needs to be ordered/made to your specification, delivery can be around 4-6 weeks. 
  • If you need an item for a specific date please contact us prior to your purchase so we can advise you on delivery. If you need an item quicker, please ask and we'll do our best to meet your requirements.
  • For a fast delivery and for insurance purposes, we send all deliveries to mainland UK addresses via Royal Mail. We offer free shipping on UK orders over £75 (excluding larger or heavier items). For orders under £75 there is a £4.95 shipping charge.

  • UK (excluding Ireland) Orders up to £100 will be sent via Recorded Delivery. Orders over £100 will also be dispatched via Special Delivery. 
  • Please contact us for International shipping rates as these may vary.
  • Customs and taxes vary in each country outside of the UK. Pease check your own country customs information as the recipient is required to pay these fees before goods will be released from customs. 

 

RETURNS

  • You have 14 days to notify us if you wish to return unwanted goods (goods must be in the same condition as they were received) and another 14 days for us to receive the goods. This means you have a total of 28 days to return an unwanted item. You are responsible for the return postage costs which must include suitable insurance cover for the item as well as being tracked delivery (we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery within the UK)
  • Items returned from outside of the UK will also have our customs charges deducted from refunds.
  • There will be a fee of £7.50 deducted from refunds on returned earrings for a cleaning and sterilisation process.
  • If you ordered a ring in the wrong size please contact us as soon as possible to arrange re-sizing the ring with us free of charge, excluding your return shipping charge (small charges may apply for alterations on pre-owned items) Please make sure the ring is unworn as we are unable to size certain designs and will therefore need to exchange the ring.
  • If you have purchased an item by interest free credit and you wish to return the item please contact us before returning to discuss your options.
  • If you wish to return goods which are faulty (manufacturers fault) this must be within 6 months of the date the goods were purchased.
  • Please be aware our insurance only covers items we ship out and it does not cover items sent from the consumer therefore you are responsible for the cost of returning the item including any necessary insurance cover in case the parcel is lost in transit.
  • In the rare event that an item is faulty within the 28days of purchase please return your item via a tracked and insured delivery service (via Royal Mail Recorded or Royal Mail Special Delivery - depending on the value of the item) and we will refund your postage cost with a proof of receipt once we have received the goods. Pre-owned Watch Warranty

Pre-owned watches include a 12 month warranty covering mechanical defects in the movement from the date of purchase. This excludes accidental damage, wear and tear, straps, glass, and water damage. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
Many pieces also benefit from any remaining manufacturer’s warranty.
